The magic of the internet has allowed me to discover these two beautiful pieces of an even more beautiful friend: Tolis Elefantis. Once we were in touch a lot and we used to talk of fairy dust and angel kisses. My love for the waters and the sea is demonstrated in these wonderful photographs taken by Tolis himself. I will never forget Ellada with Tolis on my last night there. A gigantic full moon rising behind the Parthenon in Athina and a great meal and lots of fun. S'agapw my friend. OKEANOS - THE PEACE-BRINGER.

City of Heroes es el juego en línea del que mi primo y otro amigo son fans. El juego de multijugadores masivo es muy bueno y te permite crear tu propio superhéroe o superheroína al igual que un villano. De todos los mundos y de todos los poderes se puede escoger, un tanker que ataque con las manos, un defender que protega a sus compañeros o un peacebringer. Hacedor de Paz, un arquetipo épico.

¿Quiénes son los Peacebringers?

Peacebringers are members of an alien race known as Kheldians that have fused with a willing human host. Although they cannot access Flight or Teleport pools, Peacebringers have a wide range of powers at their disposal, making them (along with Warshades) one of the most diverse Archetypes in the game. Peacebringers can transform into Bright Novas, giving them Blaster-like abilities, or into White Dwarfs, allowing them to have Tanker-like abilities. Peacebringers naturally have the ability to fly from level 1. Their origin is always natural, no other option is available during character creation.

Primary Powers: Most ranged and melee attacks with a heal other power and the ability to summon three kamikaze pets.

Secondary Powers: Mainly defensive powers including damage resistance and a self heal as well as some buffs.

Inherent Powers:

• Cosmic Balance: Depending on the teammate this power gives the Peacebringer a boost in damage, damage resistance, or protection from status effects. The effect works to balance the team's strengths.
• Energy Flight: Peacebringers can inherently fly. This is the same as the Flight Power Pool's Fly.
• Combat Flight: A slower and more maneuverable way to fly, with a defensive buff. This is the same as Flight Power Pool's Hover.

The hero Horus from the Blue King Studios publication of the City of Heroes comic book was revealed to be a Peacebringer. The contacts Sunstorm and Moonfire are NPC examples of a Peacebringer.

THERE'S NO BETTER DEPICTION OF THE KING OF THE SEVEN SEAS THAN THIS ONE FROM ALEX ROSS. HE'S A MASTER AND THIS IS THE BEST HE HAS GOTTEN WHEN IT COMES TO AQUAMAN.

AQUAMAN IS THE QUINTESSENTIAL SEA HERO AND MUST BE TREATED WITH RESPECT. DC COMICS SHOULD KNOW BETTER. A HERO LIKE HE IS SHOULD HAVE GREAT POWERS UPON THE WAVES AND THE SEA, EARTHQUAKES AND SEA-LIFE AS SEEN ON THE TV SHOW OR COMIC BOOKS. ORIN, ARTHUR CURRY, MUST COME BACK - WE DESERVE IT !

The best movie i've watched on TV this year: WALK ON WATER ללכת על המים; Trailer here. Israel is where my dreams call me. Somehow I know that my destiny awaits me there. Directed by the magnificent Eytan Fox with perfect actors such as Lior Ashkenazi and Knut Berger.

The plot: Eyal, an Israeli Mossad agent, is given the mission to track down and kill the very old Alfred Himmelman, an ex-Nazi officer, who might still be alive. Pretending to be a tourist guide, he befriends his grandson Axel, in Israel to visit his sister Pia. The two men set out on a tour of the country during which, Axel challenges Eyal's values and new generations of German and Hebrew will see life through each others' eyes.

A MUST SEE! I loved it and strongly recommend it.

MERRY CHRISTMAS & JOYEUX NÖEL... NOW WHERE'S THE PARTY?

Y para los que no lo entendieron...

One upon a time there was a prince who was cursed to become a frog. Living in a pond, one day he met a fair lady. She kissed him and they fell in love. He married her, although at times, because of nervousness or fear, he would turn back into a frog. Luckily, the kiss of his wife would transform him back into Prince Ambrose.

Tragedy befell the Prince and his family. The Enemy of the free peoples of the World of Fables attacked the Kindgom of Frog. Hidden in the highest tower of the kingdom, the Frog Prince and his family saw his entire kingdom become victim of Trolls and Monsters who killed everything and everyone around them. Prepared to battle them in full armor, the villains arrived at the Prince's door. And when they entered, the Prince turned into a Frog and with sorrow witnessed the killing and raping of his children and wife.

Who would pay attention to a Frog? The trolls and monsters didn't. When the looters, rapist and killers fled the destroyed kindgom, Ambrose rose to see his murdered family and kissing his wife goodbye found himself a human again. But his mind was forever shattered and wandered the lands loking for his long-lost wife and children. That is the story of the Frog Prince by Bill Willingham & FABLES.

Yet chance smiled on Ambrose and he became the Prince he once was. He fought evils, monsters, and the Enemy and founded Haven, the Kingdom of the Free on the Homelands. There he gathered an army more powerful than any army in the Fable World and conquered. But his days, though glorious were not perennial. His doom came in wooden shape and he met his end. But Haven carried on and was forever a Kingdom of the Free amongst the Emeny's armies. Fabletown and the Free Folk had now a Noble Frog Prince to celebrate even in Death.

En toda mi vida nunca he experimentado la belleza y magnitud de estar ante la presencia de un ser que se cree pueda tener 2000 años. La vida que da vida. El árbol del Tule en Oaxaca.

El árbol del Tule es un ahuehuete o sabino que ha crecido por más tiempo de lo que cualquier ser viviente pueda llegar a saber. De una altura de alrededo de 42m y un grosor de 58m, su alma es impactante. Su verdadera edad se desconoce, pero lo menos que puede tener es unos 1600 años y hay quienes incluso han llegado a afirmar que su edad pueda llegar a más de 6000 años.  Pero eso no importa, las leyendas cuentan que cuando llegaron los españoles y colonizaron las tierras de Oaxaca, un señor quizo comprar el árbol a los indígenas pero ellos no quisieron aunque el precio fue muy alto. Un señor de los árboles que ha resistido terremotos y la furia de los rayos. Padre de los árboles, cobija de cientos de aves y vida.

Vida que dá vida.

Estar bajo las ramas de un señor como el Tule es indescriptible. El mutismo es el mejor halago. No somos nada comparados con un árbol asi. La pequeñez humana se hace evidente junto al Tule y la paz presente. Amo este árbol lleno de vida que da vida y sabiduría. Junto a él pedi por paz, serenidad y sabiduría para mi y los mios.
